Art school adage I liked, “Learn the rules, then break them.” In this case, composition 101.

For the first three years I called it “PAIN AIR.” How many times did the easel blow over and twice the wind caught the wet canvas and blew it into my face. So glad I stuck with it.  Many adventures. My thanks to Bob, John, Shelly, Sam, Dick and others for the push.

This fellow who has been enjoying my streetcar paintings dropped off this amazing leather and embroidered jacket for me at Artworld.  Blew me away.
